Failure Doesn’t Exist For You
There are several times when we have not followed something through or pushed through with something because we’ve been so afraid to fail.
You’re not alone when it comes to these feelings because a lot of people actually are afraid of failure. Nobody likes the idea of failing. The very notion of failure makes us feel weak, ineffective and useless.
Failure doesn’t exist whether you believe it or not. Not unless you actually say it does. According to the dictionary, Failure is defines as a failure to do or perform, or the state of inability to perform a normal function adequately, or a lack of success, or giving way under stress.
If you read those definitions again, you will notice one common theme when it comes to achieving your goal. It clearly defines that failure is only a perception in our minds.
If you truly believe that you have failed, then guess what, you have. I favor mind is full of negative thoughts like you know you don’t have what it takes to succeed, then you won’t. You have to realize that failure only exists in you mind and nobody else. The minute you give up, failure is created.
Changing your mindset is the right thing to do. Always believe in yourself and never entertain failure in your mind. Take it slow. Reaching your goals doesn’t happen in an instant. If you take it slowly but surely, you will see positive results come your way. Going forward in a positive way will help you reach your goal and you will never fail.
Try these three simple steps in going towards your goals.
No excuses are allowed. Never allow yourself of thinking for excuses why you haven’t completed something. Most people do this without realizing that it’s one cause of failure. Do not quit and commit yourself in reaching your goal. See it through the end and never ever contemplate failure or lose determination.
Do not give yourself time frames for reaching your goals. Decide on your goals and work towards them. Some goals often take a longer time to achieve than others. If you set up a time frame, you’re giving yourself pressure to complete what you’re doing on the specific deadline that you’ve given yourself. I you set up a time frame, you’re setting yourself up for failure. Instead of focusing on a deadline, focus more on the progress that you’re making.
Do not view obstacles and setbacks as failures. These are but normal in trying to reach your goal. The most important thing is you keep moving forward on the correct track in achieving your goal. Remember, there’s no such thing as failure. It simply doesn’t exist.
