This calls for lots of flexibility and patience towards the team members so as to get things done in an appropriate manner. You have to assign tasks to your team but flexibility allows the free flow of communication i.e. intake of ideas is important. Teamwork is the only key to success because if your subordinates do not execute the work properly, you shall be held responsible in the end. Hence, do not try to impose things on your juniors instead have patience and give them ample time to finish off the work.
3. Good Teaching and Listening Skills: An efficient team is essential to get the desired results and it is vital to delegate tasks in a respectful way. You have to be a good teacher to explain the roles and responsibilities of the juniors and their relevance. Also, you have to understand your employees- their attitudes, motivation factors, responsibilities they might enjoy, the rewards and bonus, etc. – to get the work done. Be a good listener and treat them as equals by not flaunting your boss tag. You should be open to suggestions and listen to what your teammates have to say.
