The Baseball Tips You Must Know for Hitting
Discipline, hard work and intense focus are needed to be a great hitter. That and the easy steps I’m going to share with you in this article. Good hitting doesn’t happen overnight. It is a process that must be taken seriously.
Follow these five tips sincerely and you are guaranteed to be a better hitter:
I. Live batting practice is necessary. Each time you should get at least 20 hits, to each part of the field. Be sure to bunt the ball a few times too.
II. Find a few hitting drills you enjoy and practice them frequently. You will probably need help from a parent, teammate or coach.
III. Condition your body throughout the year with cardio and weights.
IV. Eat food that is good for you and avoid junk food or fattening foods.
V. Watch how the professionals do it either by attending games or watching videos.
These steps will help prepare you for any hitting situation. Every time you step up to the plate there’s a different circumstance and you have to be ready for whatever comes your way. These baseball tips will be sure to help you hit the ball better, no matter who the pitcher is.
Those who work hard and take the right steps are more likely to succeed. In high school I played against Todd Helton, who now plays for the Colorado Rockies. We could all tell there was something different about him. He worked hard and we knew it. He stood out from the rest and now you can see how his hard work paid off. In his professional career he has a .324 hitting average.
You too can live out your dream as a great baseball hitter if you’re willing to put forth the effort. Follow these steps, don’t give up and don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way. Even Helton didn’t do it all by himself. Most of all, believe in yourself and in your capabilities.
