Avatar

This costume is still cool up to now. This makes it into the top Halloween costumes despite the fact that if you show up to a party in this costume it may look like a Smurf village. That may not be so bad the Smurfs movie comes out next year. Just bring a smurf hat just in case there are too many Avatar nerds. The avatar costumes are very distinctive, given that you are dressing as an alien creature. The aquamarine blue color of the skin will be an instant give away about who you are. You could probably do this by applying skin friendly paint or better still purchase an Avatar costume. The costume will include a mask to make you look just right.

Iron Man 2

Iron Man was introduced to all of us through the original Marvel comic book series. He is the superhero created by the genius inventor, Tony Stark and it’s not surprised when it becomes the one of top Halloween costumes for this Halloween season. The Mark VI costume is the most recent upgraded version of the superhero as seen in the Iron Man 2 movie. New for this season is the classic Iron Man costume for children. This includes a jumpsuit that makes it easy for the child to get in and out of as well as the Iron Man mask. The costume includes accentuated muscles to make the superhero look super strong.

Twilight

Twilight is the phenomenon that took the world by storm, so it’s also another of top Halloween costumes. Everyone will be dying to sink their fangs into a Bella, Edward, or Jacob costume. As an added bonus, these costumes are generally low maintenance and have a shorter prep time than other more elaborate costumes. Unless, of course, you decide to go full on Wolf-Jacob, or are trying to copy Edward’s hairstyle!

The Shrek movies are great for having a big and eclectic variety of characters- so choosing the right character to dress up as won’t take any time at all. Shrek Forever After movie Halloween costumes will be out in full force this year due to the success of the movie this past summer.

Think of the looks you’ll get as you moon walk into the party with that iconic white glove! Go as “beat it!” version or my favorite the “smooth criminal” version. Is it too soon to be in the top Halloween costumes? Normally I would say yes, but we are giving it a pass since everyone is trying to cash in on his death.
