Everybody likes to win. Win the game, win the pitch, win the job, win the love of your life… There is no better feeling in life then winning. Here’s a list of some fabulous things to win and ideas of what to do with your prize.
1.The Lottery
Money is probably the number one thing people would want to win if given the choice. It’s easy and you can do anything you want with it. Most people think that money is the solution to all problems, and that winning the lottery will save their lives. Not true. Often having money causes more problems then not having it. I would therefore suggest that you first use your winnings for the things you really need. Once you have the things you need, by all means, indulge yourself a little. I mean after all, how often does one win the lottery? After indulging yourself however, it might be nice to indulge others. Perhaps your immediate family or close friends, or better yet, how about people who are really in need. Giving money to charities you believe in will have you feeling like you’ve won twice.
2.New Clothes
I’ve always wanted to win a massive shopping spree to my favourite store, mall, or city. It’s like money that you’re only allowed to spend on frivolous things so there is no temptation whatsoever to use it to pay bills or save, or some other boring, responsible option. If you had tons of cash to spend on clothes start by buying that one thing you have been wanting for ages. Whether it’s a new coat, or great new shoes, you’ve been holding back for a reason and you don’t need to anymore, so splurge! My next piece of advice would be to buy the latest fashion magazines and flip through them for inspiration. What’s in style this season and what would look good on you? Source it and get it!
3.A Holiday
Holidays are the best things to win. They are expensive, and therefore something we often pass up on. It’s time to treat yourself. Use the free ticket you got, free hotel or whatever as a jumping off point. Odds are the supplier won’t have provided you with extra spending cash. But don’t hold back, you’ve been wanting this holiday for so long and now you can take it, so make sure to enjoy it. Treat yourself to some nice meals out, a bit of adventure and maybe some pampering too. Go on… you deserve it!
The best part about winning is that you could have never known that it was coming which makes it all feel like a big bonus. So do something a bit wild- buy your dream car, fly in a hot air balloon, and try something you’ve never tried before.
