I am the type of person who does not easily trust other people. I only have limited friends and I am sure that I can trust them with my secrets. I am comfortable in having few but reliable pals than having plenty when in fact you do not know if you can really count on them or not. I have been through a lot of bad times already and I can say that my true friends remain there to support me whenever I need them. They have been very supportive of me and what I do in life. I just hope that they think of me the same way as well.

In my 28 years of life I have at least 7 close friend who I always hang on whenever I need them. So how can we really find true friends nowadays? Here are some of the stories I want to share with you on how I met my true friends and maybe you can also try the same things in determining your rela friends.

I met my two best friends in high elementary grade, we have been together since then. We have been living in the same street so we always go home together. That’s when we got the chance to get to know each other better. I invite her to sleep at my house and vice versa. I consider her as a true friend for I can rely on her to keep my secrets like my first crush and the likes. She’s like a sister to me for we share a lot of things, we enjoy doing the same cute things like shopping and watching movies, and we always go to the same place to relax like dining in our fave resto once a week.

One time, her family decided to live in a different place, it was the hardest time for us for we know that it will be a challenge to communicate with each other. We will surely miss each other and the things we do. Despite the fact that we have to separate ways, we still see to it that by any means we do not miss the chance to talk to each other once a week.

When I was in college, I have met my two other friends. I just like the way they live their lives. They are very down to earth people despite their status in life. They are fun to be with just like me they are easy go lucky without taking for granted our responsibilities. We help each other to maintain our good academic standings in school. I can tell them my life and my outlook on different things without being judged if I make mistakes. They are willing to defend my views and opinions and they tell me if I tend to go overboard.

Finding true friends is not an easy job, but I can always say that you will know who your true friends are if you can rely on them through thick and thin. They are always there in your heart despite their absence and you know that you can share everything with them. If ever you find one then learn how to value your friendship with them for it is rare to find real friend today.

Now I will enter a new chapter in my life and I have invited my true friend to be my bridesmaids. They are all willing to attend and I want to give them something special. Thus, I decided to give them wedding accessories and bridesmaid gifts that they will cherish forever.
