OCD Symptoms – Is It Too Late For You?
OCD symptoms are very different from one person to the other. What you should know is that there are no two people who have the same exact kind of OCD, period. Obsessive compulsive disorder in people is like snowflakes, from far away, all OCD sufferers may look the same, when you look up close, they are indeed very different. There are people who count things obsessively; there are those who repeat mantras to themselves over and over again. There are people who repeat actions or replay thoughts and a bunch of other things that can all be distressing.
I want you to know that you are not alone if you have OCD symptoms. Just because no two people have the same OCD, it doesn’t mean that there aren’t thousands of people who suffer with extremely similar types! So you truly don’t need to worry or ask yourself if you are the only one, because you are not. Also, you don’t have the worst kind of OCD. Most of my clients tell me that they have the worst kind of OCD, everybody who has OCD thinks this, but it’s not true, in fact most people can get over their OCD in a matter of a few months with hard work.
I don’t want you to think that you’ll have to suffer with OCD for the rest of your life because you won’t have to. You can actually beat OCD, but you’ll simply need to have a set of paradigm shifts take place. Basically what this means is that you’ll need a new understanding and a new set of experiences to be able to help you understand how to beat OCD. Don’t worry, I’ll guide you through all of this later, but for now I just want you to know that you can indeed beat OCD.
Another thing that I hear people talk about when they mention OCD symptoms, they start talking about medications. What you should know about these is that they are only band-aids. This does not mean that they are bad, as I do believe that there are some people that let their OCD get so much out of control that they may need to use medications to get them back to a place where they can actually follow my program. However, medications would not benefit most sufferers because it creates a crutch and an excuse to not actually beat it.
Whenever you make something OK just enough to live with, people will become lazy, less motivated and will not do the work required to actually become and stay OCD free. I have some powerful OCD materials for you below, enjoy!
